One day Internationals is where batsmen look to attack, but there's a danger of being bowled out before playing full quota of 50 overs.
Twenty20 cricket is were batter don't think one bit, and smash everything from ball one. Selectors even keep those batsman away from this shortest version of international cricket who can't play innovative strokes.
If you like to seeing sixes, T20 is for you.
But very few batsmen have the ability to clear field at will. Chris Gayle of West Indies was the first batsman to reach three figure individual score in 20 over cricket, and we all know how good a striker of cricket ball he is. So far, only 21 batsmen have managed to make a century in T20 internationals. Brendan McCullum is only one to do it twice while Aaron Finch has gone the highest, so far..
Record holdersAussie Ricky Ponting's 98 not out was the highest score in first ever T20 game back in 2005 before Chris Gayle scored 117 in 2007. Since Richard Levi was unbeaten at same score in year 2012, he kind of snatched away the record after 5 long years but only 7 months later it went to Brendon McCullum's 123. McCullum was out last ball of the innings. Eleven months later, Aaron Finch mesmerized one and all, scoring the first T20 century on English soil and even crossed 150 mark, the first batsman to do so at International level. Finch was out with well over two overs remaining in the inning. Imagine what he could've done had he batted on..!!
