What are play-offsInstead of two semi-finals, Indian premier league introduced play-offs and eliminator last year which allows top two teams an extra chance to reach the final. First, top two teams in points table will play each other with winner qualifying for final while loser will wait for winner of eliminator between 3rd and 4th position teams and then another final eliminator to decide other finalist.
