In total, England have registered 54 victories from 165 tests in Australia before Ashes 2010-11 kicks off, drawing 26 while losing 85 (not impressive, is it?).

Now the most successful venue for England in Australia has been Sydney cricket ground, where they've 21 victories whereas Melbourne cricket ground comes second with 19 wins, followed by Adelaide Oval with 8 wins and Gabba in Brisbane with 4 wins. WACA ground in Perth has fetched English just one victory over Australia.

Note that, back in 1928, England beat Australia in Australia at a venue called Exhibition ground in Brisbane as well, although that ground don't host any tests no more.
